Terms
This page is maintained by 5127 AI to set out the terms of use for Ariadne.
Last updated 8/1/2026
By using Ariadne you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use it.
What Ariadne is
Ariadne is a tool for thinking through a decision. You describe a situation, answer a structured sequence of questions, and receive a recommendation, the reasoning behind it, an argument against it, and a note about what would change it.
The recommendation is produced from your own answers. It knows nothing about your situation that you did not tell it. It is a mirror with arithmetic behind it, not an oracle.
What Ariadne is not
It is not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, medical, psychological, financial, tax, or investment advice. It is not a substitute for a lawyer, a doctor, a therapist, an accountant, or anyone else qualified to advise you on your specific circumstances. If your decision has legal, medical, or financial consequences, speak to someone who is licensed to help you with it.
It is not a therapist and it is not crisis support. Ariadne does not provide mental health treatment, counselling, or emergency assistance. If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, stop using this and contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. In Canada and the United States, call or text 988. Elsewhere, contact your local emergency services.
It is not a decision maker. The decision is yours. The consequences are yours. You are responsible for what you do.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16. You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you are using Ariadne on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
Your account
You create an account by giving us an email address at the end of a session. You are responsible for keeping access to that address secure. Tell us at b@5127ai.com if you believe someone else has got into your account.
What you may not do
- Use Ariadne to plan anything illegal, or to plan harm to another person.
- Submit someone else's personal information, particularly health, financial, or intimate details about a person who has not agreed to it.
- Attempt to extract the underlying prompts, scoring logic, thresholds, or model instructions, or to reverse engineer them.
- Scrape, automate, or bulk submit sessions.
- Interfere with the service, its security, or other people's use of it.
- Resell, sublicense, or present the output as your own product.
We may suspend or end your access for any of these, without notice.
What you write
You keep ownership of everything you write. You grant us a limited licence to store it, process it, send it to our model providers, and generate your result, and to study it in de-identified aggregate form to improve the service. That licence lasts as long as we hold the content and ends when you delete it, except for aggregate analysis that no longer identifies you.
We do not claim ownership of your decisions, your reasoning, or your results.
What we own
Ariadne's name, design, interface, question sequences, scoring model, and underlying code are ours. Your result is yours to use however you like. Everything that produced it is not.
The service may change or stop
Ariadne is offered as it is. We may change it, add to it, take features away, or discontinue it. We try to give notice for anything material, and we will give you a way to export your archive if we shut down, but we do not guarantee continuous availability.
No warranty
Ariadne is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the recommendation is correct, that it is right for you, that the reasoning is sound, or that following it will produce a good outcome. Language models make mistakes. So do people. So does the arithmetic when it is fed poor inputs, and the inputs are yours.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, 5127 AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or losses arising from a decision you made after using Ariadne.
Our total liability for any claim relating to Ariadne is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty Canadian dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnity
You will indemnify 5127 AI against claims arising from your use of Ariadne in breach of these terms, or from content you submitted that you had no right to submit.
Ending it
You can stop using Ariadne at any time and delete your account by writing to b@5127ai.com. We can end your access if you breach these terms. The sections on your content, our ownership, warranties, liability, and indemnity survive the end.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will say so on the site and, where you have an account, by email. Continuing to use Ariadne after that means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
